Team Leader at Keller Williams Classic Realty. I help agents build businesses they are proud of, and if the right answer turns out to be somewhere other than here, I would still rather you left the conversation clearer than you arrived.
Team Leader, Director of Growth
Keller Williams Classic Realty
Coon Rapids & Blaine, MN
Real estate has never been only about transactions for me. It is about the person on the other side of the desk working out what to do next.
As Team Leader at Keller Williams Classic Realty, my job is to help agents build businesses they are proud of. Some days that is a growth plan or a marketing problem. Some days it is introducing two people who should already know each other. Some days it is just being someone in your corner while you think through a hard decision.
I came to this from operations. Fifteen years of leading teams and building the systems that let organisations grow without falling over, including workforce operations for more than 350 employees at Target. I do my best work where things are complicated: several teams, competing priorities, and a real need for structure that does not kill momentum.
That background still shapes how I see this business. Most agents do not have a marketing problem or a lead problem. They have a systems problem, and it only looks like the other two.
Around the office you will usually find me brainstorming with an agent, teaching a class, celebrating somebody else's win, or carrying another iced coffee.
Sometimes the right answer is Keller Williams Classic Realty. Sometimes it is not. Either way, you should leave with more clarity than you came with.
Renee ZettlerWhat I actually do
Officially, Team Leader. Practically, I help agents build businesses they are glad to wake up for.
That might be a career decision, a business plan, a stubborn problem, a marketing idea, or working out what has been holding someone under the same ceiling for a year. If there is a way to move your business forward, I want in on it.
What happens if you call me
First, probably coffee. Then a lot of questions.
I want to understand where you are, where you are trying to get to, what is working, and what is in the way. Whether you are seriously weighing a move or just want a second opinion, I am not trying to talk you into anything.
Sometimes the right answer is here. Sometimes it is not. Either way you should leave with more clarity than you came with, and nothing about the conversation obliges you to do anything at all.
Who does well here
Agents who are curious, coachable, and willing to be part of something. You do not need to arrive knowing everything. You need to be willing to learn, try things, and actually build a business rather than wait for one to arrive.
The people who do best here ask questions, share what is working, and turn up for other agents' wins. Success in this office is not a solo sport, and the culture only holds because people treat it that way.
And who does not
Anyone hoping somebody else will build their business for them.
No brokerage, coach, or piece of technology substitutes for consistency and personal accountability. If you want somewhere to plug in, contribute, and grow alongside people who genuinely want you to do well, you will probably feel at home. If you are looking for someone to hand you success, we are the wrong office, and I would rather say so over coffee than three months into an agreement.
What I think has changed
Consumers have changed, technology has changed, and the old advice about working harder until it comes good is not enough on its own any more.
Agents now need better systems, stronger relationships, sharper marketing, and a real willingness to adapt. They also need somewhere ideas get shared instead of guarded. I think the next decade belongs to the agents who keep learning and build something both profitable and sustainable, and that is the environment we are trying to run here.
Outside work
Fantasy novels, an ongoing search for a genuinely good coffee shop, planning the next trip, and my husband and our three kids. There is also a dinosaur tattoo on my arm, which I am always happy to explain.
