Market Report

What's in a market report?

Our own closed transaction data, resolved to a city — not an aggregator's estimate. Generated July 27, 2026, covering closings through July 23, 2026.

Built from our own closings, not a public estimate.

KW Command closed transactions. RESIDENTIAL SALES ONLY — leases, land, commercial, referrals, adjustments and company-dollar transfers are excluded. Counts are transaction SIDES (listing side + buyer side), not distinct properties: a deal where the brokerage held both sides counts twice. The export carries no city field; street addresses were resolved to incorporated places offline against Census TIGER 2023 address ranges (ADDRFEAT -> FACES -> PLACE). 6,875 of 9,730 residential sales resolved to a city; the remainder is mostly outstate Minnesota and other states.

That resolution covered 6,875 sales across 195 distinct cities — enough to build a full report for the 16 we work in most, and to name (without a page for each) the wider footprint on the areas hub.

Counts are transaction sides — the listing side plus the buyer side of a sale — not distinct properties. A deal where the brokerage held both sides of the transaction counts twice. Every report states its own generation date and the closing-data window it covers, so a stale report is visible rather than silent.

Where does the data come from?

KW Command closed transactions. RESIDENTIAL SALES ONLY — leases, land, commercial, referrals, adjustments and company-dollar transfers are excluded. How current is a market report?

Each report is generated from a fresh export of our closed transactions and states the date it was generated, right on the report. This one's most recent generation covered closings through July 23, 2026, generated July 27, 2026.

What does "transaction sides" mean?

A side is one party to a closed sale: the listing side or the buyer side. A deal where Keller Williams Classic Realty represented both the seller and the buyer counts as two sides. That is a standard brokerage-production convention, not a count of distinct properties.

Is this the same as an automated home-value estimate?

No. A market report describes a city as a whole — our closed sides, split and volume there. For an estimate of what a specific address might be worth, use the home value tool instead; a market report does not price your individual property.
